Alternative Meeting Places to Suit your Group

The Conference Center includes three seminar rooms thatIn addition to the meeting and dining spaces in the Conference Center , the University makes its other facilities available to interested groups and individuals. These rooms can be transformed into most any styles to accommodate various size events. Many of these rooms offer complete audiovisual, teleconference and video conferencing capabilities. These facilities are available when not in use for regular University activities and include:

Lincoln Theater and Reception Area 700 Guests

The Lincoln Theater welcomes outside bookings and can be used for performances, public lectures, debates, and other functions. The facility seats 716, has a thrust stage 65 feet at its widest, and houses a full orchestra pit. The theater has computerized sound and lighting with dressing rooms that accommodate up to 50 performers.

Millard Auditorium 350 Guests

Millard Auditorium provides the main performance venue on the University of Hartford campus. An intimate 428-seat house, it is home the Opera, Dance, Theatre and Music Theatre Divisions of The Hartt School. In addition, Millard is used for symphonies, chamber music concerts, solo recitals and lectures. Millard has computerized sound and lighting equipment, a 50-foot proscenium arch with a stage depth of 32 feet, a 22 line-set fly and a full orchestra pit.

Kent McCray TV Studio & WWUH Radio Station

Brand new and state of the art, the WWUH Radio Station and TV Studio offer a fun meeting space for events and team building activities. It is located on the lower level of the Gray Conference Center, and is accessible by the rear entrance of the Wilde Auditorium.

The Gengras Student Union 500 Guests

Located in the center of the University of Hartford Campus, serves as a host to many large events throughout the year. Remodeled last year, its large windows create a pleasant view of the campus. It is the most requested space in campus because of the sunlight that the room captures. The GSU Cafe has accommodated proms, galas, and corporate meetings in excess of 500 people. Extra amenities such as staging and large screens and projectors are available for additional cost. GSU also offers a variety of classrooms and newly refinished Henry Roberts Room for executive meetings of 20 people or less.

The Konover Great Room 500 Guests

Once considered primarily a University facility, the new expansion makes Konover a great place for large interactive events. The Great Room can accommodate an excess of 500 people and is perfect for student organiza-tions or summer camp activities. It has easy parking access and is also home to Java City, The City Deli, and our new convenience store The Village Market so you'll never have to leave.
